A summer of colour
Curated by Didier Ottinger, Deputy Director of the Musée National d'Art Moderne, this exceptional exhibition brings together over a hundred works. Visitors can admire paintings by such masters as Sonia Delaunay, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Pablo Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, Henri Matisse and Vassily Kandinsky.
The exhibition is structured around seven monochromatic spaces, where the visual experience is enhanced by sound creations by composer Roque Rivas and olfactory compositions byAlexis Dadier for Fragonard. Marion Maelander has designed special installations incorporating design pieces by renowned creators such as Ron Arad, Jean Prouvé, Ettore Sotsass and Philippe Starck.
The scenography designed by William Chatelain,"Couleurs ! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou" offers visitors a sensory immersion in the adventure of colour.

In 2023, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco presented the exhibition"Monet, En Pleine Lumière", as part of the celebrations marking the 140th anniversary of Claude Monet's first stopover in Monaco, followed in 2024 by the exhibition-event"Turner, the sublime legacy", an extraordinary journey into the world of one of the greatest European painters of the 19th century: Joseph Mallord William Turner.
Retrospective
Since its inauguration on 20 July 2000 by Prince Rainier III and Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco (GFM) has produced a major thematic exhibition each summer devoted to a major artistic movement, a heritage or civilisation theme, or any subject that expresses the renewal of creativity.
The GFM collaborates with the world's leading cultural institutions - museums, foundations and galleries - which support the success of these major summer exhibitions with loans of major works.
Thanks to the quality of its major summer exhibitions, the Grimaldi Forum has established itself as a cultural institution in its own right.
You can visit the Grimaldi Forum Monaco website for more information and access to ticketing.
