Four evenings of wonder

Created by Monaco's Mairie de Monaco in 1966, the unmissable Monaco Art en Ciel firework display is an annual spectacle of the highest quality. Summer is the perfect time for long outdoor evenings in the Port of Monaco, and the fireworks are a constant delight for young and old alike. High-powered sound systems are installed throughout Port Hercule, enabling spectators to enjoy these exceptional shows from the Quai Albert Ier.

The countries compete against each other in the Monegasque skies during particularly technical fireworks displays in which the visual effects and music are perfectly synchronised! Of all the fireworks festivals in the world, Monte-Carlo is the only one to bring together so many different nations and competitors.

Each summer, four evenings are programmed, two in July (at 10 pm) and two in August (at 9.30 pm).

The Jury, made up of members of the Local Council and representatives from the artistic world and civil society, is chaired by the Mayor or one of his Deputies. An audience prize is also awarded, based on votes cast by spectators via the internet. The competition is organised by the Espace Léo Ferré teams.
