IBTM Barcelona 2024

Every year, professionals from the MICE sector gather in Barcelona for one of the key events in the business tourism and events industry.

IBTM World 2024 was an exceptional edition, surpassing the success of last year’s event with over 73,000 business meetings scheduled at the show over three days (an increase of more than 23% compared to 2023).

The total number of visitors increased by 16% compared to last year. The number of hosted buyers, from over 120 countries, was 22% higher than in 2023, and the exhibition brought together nearly 2,350 exhibitors.

To showcase all the new developments and solutions offered to MICE professionals by the destination, the Monaco Convention Bureau was joined by its representative for the UK and Scandinavian markets, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, the Société des Bains de Mer, the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, the Novotel Monte Carlo and the Columbus Monte Carlo Curio Collection by Hilton, as well as the agencies Ikebana, Raising Stones Events, Lafayette Group, CMX and Incentive Concept.
