IBTM WORLD 2025
Every year, Barcelona becomes the rallying point for MICE players at one of the key events in the business tourism and events sector: IBTM World.
The 2025 edition was particularly remarkable, surpassing even the success of the previous year. In three days, more than 79,000 business meetings were scheduled at the show, an increase of more than 8% on 2024. IBTM World 2025 attracted 12,000 participants, confirming its international scope, with 49% of hosted buyers coming from outside Europe. The show also welcomed nearly 2,500 exhibitors.
The Monaco Convention Bureau, represented by Christine Barrabino, was accompanied by Rebecca Petitjean, representative for the British and Scandinavian markets, to present all the new products and solutions offered by the destination to MICE professionals. The Monaco delegation also included the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, the Société des Bains de Mer, the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, the Columbus Monte-Carlo Curio Collection by Hilton, as well as agencies Ikebana, Monaco Mediax, Raising Stones Events, Lafayette Group, CMX and Incentive Concept.
To liven up the VisitMonaco stand, the WeAct Team agency, which was also present, put on a fun and creative "Hat Bar", offering visitors an original and convivial experience.
Finally, on 19 November, Monaco welcomed its guests to an exclusive dinner at the Coya & Pisco Bar restaurant in Barcelona, bringing the event to a close on a warm and elegant note.
