The Monaco Convention Bureau is a member of the Strategic Alliance of the National Convention Bureaux of Europe. Established in 2024, the Alliance is a network of 29 DMOs working together to strengthen Europe’s position as a leading destination for international business events.
Its member countries meet several times a year to share experiences and collaborate on key projects.
At the end of January, at the invitation of the Catalunya Convention Bureau, Europe’s CVBs gathered in Barcelona to discuss a range of topics related to sustainable development challenges for the MICE industry and to exchange views with the PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) on new projects and challenges that will shape 2024, as well as with the organisers of the IMEX trade shows on the outlook for the upcoming events in Frankfurt and Las Vegas.
