The Tourism Board at the forefront of major MICE trends in Rotterdam

The Convening EMEA 2025, organised by the PCMA ( Professional Convention Management Association), brought together several hundred decision-makers, planners and MICE industry professionals for a series of conferences, collaborative workshops and discussions on major industry trends: sustainability, technological innovation, experiential design and the social impact of events. Christine Barrabino, Head of Monaco Convention, represented the Principality and closely followed the discussions and opportunities for collaboration. Estelle Antognelli, Head of the CSR Unit, also attended the event.

On 17 October, Monaco also took part in Convene4Climate (C4C), a forum co-organised by PCMA and the Strategic Alliance of European Convention Bureaux (SANCBE), dedicated to the positive impact of business events on organisations, communities and the world. Estelle Antognelli also represented Monaco at the event, contributing to discussions on innovative and sustainable solutions to strengthen the sector’s social and environmental responsibility.

These engagements confirm Monaco’s commitment to sustainable, creative and connected business tourism, attuned to the major transformations within the sector and current societal challenges.
