From
5 March, all French mobile
customers (with the operators Bouygues, SFR, and Free) will be able to use the
“Monaco Telecom” network while in the Principality.
The
roll-out, driven by the Prince’s Government in cooperation with the country’s
national operator Monaco Telecom and its French counterparts, aims to ensure
visitors are able to enjoy the same high quality mobile coverage right across
the Principality, for an improved experience.
While
in Monaco, visitors will be able to activate roaming and connect to the “Monaco
Telecom” network. The move will bring the Principality into line with other
countries in the European zone, by allowing all users to take advantage of the
local operator’s network for incoming and outgoing calls and internet access.
