Every
year, the MICE industry comes together in Barcelona for one of the biggest
dates on the business tourism and events calendar.
IBTM
World 2024 proved to be a vintage edition, outstripping last year’s event with
more than 73,000 business meetings scheduled over the course of the three days
(over 23% more than 2023).

Total
visitor numbers were up by 16% on the previous year. There were also 22% more
hosted buyers, from over 120 countries, and more than 2,350 exhibitors in
attendance.

To
present all the latest developments and solutions created by the destination
for MICE professionals, the Monaco Convention Bureau was accompanied by its UK
and Scandinavia market representative, along with the Grimaldi Forum Monaco,
Société des Bains de Mer, the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, the Novotel Monte-Carlo,
and Columbus Monte Carlo Curio Collection by Hilton, as well as Ikebana,
Raising Stones Events, Lafayette Group, CMX, and Incentive Concept.
