Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is organising a series of exclusive events to mark the 150th anniversary of the Cellars at the Hôtel de Paris.
Explore the fascinating history of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo Cellars, and take this unique opportunity to discover one of the Principality’s hidden treasures. Originally opened back in 1874, the iconic cellars have seen over a century of history come and go, often leaving their own indelible mark on the passage of time..
Priceless heritage: 150
years of history
The history of the Hôtel de Paris Cellars goes back to the pioneering
François Blanc, who in 1864 came up with the idea of creating a new resort,
consisting of several properties all linked to the same house. The vast
construction project was launched in 1874 by Marie Blanc, who also provided
part of the funds required. Since then, the cellars have been the resort’s
“wine hub”, housing over 450,000 bottles of the finest and most sought-after
vintages, all under the expert stewardship of Executive Head Sommelier, Patrice
Franck.
Explore a hidden treasure
The Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo Cellars are much more than a mere
